Solution Mining

To extract trona by solution mining, heated water is injected into the underground ore body, allowing the mine to be dissolved in water. This solution is then brought to the surface and pumped to a central processing plant.

Eti Soda and Kazan Soda uses Solution Mining method for trona mining.
